Owner Karen Roberts started Jus Sandwiches in 2016 and is building a legacy working with her daughter. Her gourmet SIMPLE SEXY SANDWICHES tantalize taste buds with every bite. In the seven years of operation the company has expanded to catering services for clients of all sizes and has also participated as a vendor at The Taste of Chicago. Roberts often partners with Imani’s Original Bean Pies and Do WellLemonade along with other Black owned food and beverage vendors for creative catering.
Jus Sandwiches is the recipient of numerous awards including; the Sankore African Society Economic Empowerment award, the 2020 Chicago Bears Small Business All Pro award and inaugural winner of the St. Sabina churches first ever shark tank pitch competition. Roberts is an alumnus of Sunshine Enterprises and will be opening her first location in Auburn Gresham before fall 2023.
