Back in the Day is a stage play presented by Lighthouse LV, in association with Black Pages International and Bronz’D Entertainment—a 1960s Chicago musical where a teen pregnancy sparks scandal, secrets, and soul-searching, testing family bonds, young love, and the values of the time.
Set in the Woodlawn community of 1950’s Chicago, “Sigma Girl” is a powerful story about two little girls who are determined to become teachers and members of a sorority—dreaming boldly in a time that tested ambition, sisterhood, and resilience.
Written by Eugene Dillanado, directed by Natalie Battleson, with music by Nadine Dillanado and DJ Chip, this moving stage production blends heartfelt storytelling, cultural pride, and unforgettable performances into an inspiring theatrical experience.
