Harold Washington Cultural Center celebrated its twenty two years at 4701 S. King Drive Chicago, Illinois  60615 773.373.1900 with  a live theatrical fundraising gala and performance of The Quiet Parts Out Loud “A Day In The Life Of A.G. Gaston”. Also honored were: Pastor Corey Brooks, The Leak Family, Dr. Willie Wilson, Tenille Jackson, Tatiana Lane and Todd Walton.

Also, there was a powerful conversation led by Bob Dickerson, founder of the AG Gaston Conference and Executive Director of the Birmingham Business Resource Center, CEO of Foundation Capital, and Executive Director of Building Alabama Reinvestment. The conversation covered A.G. Gaston’s life, legacy, and current impact, reflecting on his vision and leadership while enhancing the future of entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and community development for two hundred fifty years of generations to come.
