Founded over two decades ago by the visionary Arnette D. French, who was also the pioneering founder and first president of the National Association of Black Pages (NABP), Black Pages International (BPI) stands as a beacon of empowerment and progress within the Black community. Operating from its base in Chicago, BPI has been a steadfast pillar in the Chicagoland community since 1988, diligently serving both consumers and businesses with unwavering dedication.
The inception of our Black Pages Directory and Information Guide marked a pivotal moment in our mission to stimulate economic growth and ensure stability within the Black community. This directory was meticulously crafted not just as a resource but as a catalyst for transformative economic empowerment.
Our commitment to fostering meaningful change is unwavering. With the distribution of the Black Pages across Black households in the metropolitan areas we serve, we aim to create a powerful cycle of economic re-circulation. By encouraging the community to invest in itself, Black Pages International not only amplifies the collective power of individuals and businesses but also lays the groundwork for a future where the Black community thrives, united in strength and prosperity. Through these efforts, BPI embodies the essence of community empowerment, driving forward a legacy of economic resilience and collective success.
