C. R. Phillips Child Development Center has been educating children since 1996. Our vision is to help develop the minds of little angels with effective and efficient educational resources. As a licensed daycare center we provide a safe and healthy environment for children between the ages of 2-5 years old Monday thru Friday from 6:30 am – 6:00 pm. We have a planned curriculum, summer camp, field trips & free registration. Our curriculum consists of reading, math, science, art, music & much more. The children are also participating in extra curriculum activities such as: gym, karate, learning Japanese & sign language.
Creating youth driven performances in weekly sessions, participants learn skills to investigate their world & then turn their feelings into performance pieces which are presented throughout the community, the state and, in a few cases, other continents. The result is socially conscious, youth driven productions that gives voice to girls’ issues & concerns. We teach emotional intelligence skills through self-awareness & empathy for others; assist with advance career exploration, cooperative learning & team building; provide opportunities for girls to practice citizenship skills including volunteering & community activism.
