The Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce and it’s affiliate chapters is a dedicated to economically empowering and sustaining African American communities through entrepreneurship and capitalistic opportunities within the state of Illinois. The basic Mission of the black chambers is to create and promote a climate where Minority business and industry can operate in a productive and profitable manner to stimulate economic growth and development within the entire local area community. Who we Service:
Minority Owned Business: Business Enterprise for Minorities, Females and persons within the Disabilities Act. (“Act”). (30ILCS 575/2 (A) (3).
Small Business: Shall have the same meaning as in the Illinois Procurement Code. (30 ILCS 500/45-45b).
Medium Business: A for-profit business with 1,000 or fewer employees assigned to work locations within the state of Illinois that is not a “small business” as that term is defined in the Illinois Procurement Code.
